Gato Inside

"Nicht alle Tassen im Schrank haben" is a German expression that means to be crazy. It can be literally traslated as "not having all the cups in the cupboard".

Here in Catalonia we use "estar tocat del bolet" (literally: your mushroom isn't working 🍄) or in Spain "estar como una cabra" (literally: to be like a goat 🐐).

A little paint splash.

First we did a design with a dark stroke and then we tried it without it.

This thursday we'll be celebrating Sant Jordi, the catalan book day. In Catalonia we gift books and roses to the people we love.

Canela loves books and dragons, so she's got a book about dragons. Is it about Sant Jordi's legend? Or maybe "Puff, the Magic Dragon"?

Today we want to share one of our first drawings of Gato Inside. Maybe you've noticed different styles in our drawings. That's because we are mixing old designs with new ones. Just so you can get the picture, this drawing is from page 2 out of more than 100 pages.

We did the first drawings with a blue pen: they're simple designs and normally just one cat per drawing. Then we changed to pencil and the drawings got more complex, with more than one cat and objects.

So we're sharing the original pen drawing too so you can compare with the vector result.
