[1] last Tuesday I decided to fly my drone and catch the incoming storm. I had done this many times before, but I. no idea how wicked that storm would be. After going up to about 300’ above my house in calm skies, the wind kicked in out of nowhere at about 60mph. My drone was whisked about a half mile away instantly. I tried bringing it down, but then the wind came in even stronger and the last known location is pictured in [2]: the Rockaway River. Using the @qapital app, I had been saving for a few years for a new DSLR, and decided that if I was gonna spend money on a fancy camera, it might as well fly.
