Shit. Was she offended? Was she just mocking him? It was hard to tell by her tone alone. either way, anxiety kept him panicking, sweating profusely as he did his best not to anger the scary lady. They last thing he wanted was to be punished for something, by someone he didn’t even know. He just wanted to get home at this point, back home to his safe bed.

The moment Kai could get his hand back, he reeled back from the claws, holding his hand tight to his chest. He really, really didn’t want to meet whoever her pig was. He wasn’t even sure what she meant by it, and he did not wanna find out. Eyes darting, he wasn’t quite able to find the words to refuse her though, throat tightening.

“ … It’s… Late. ” He mumbled, completely disregarding her questions, as if to distract her. Or maybe he was just distracting himself at this point, thoughts spinning so violently. No more of this. Maybe if he drank enough he could forget it? Ah, but he had made a deal. Trapped. At least for a moment, he would like to forget. “ It’s really late. I need to get back… get back to… Because this wasn’t in the plans. I don’t want to be seen. I don’t want anyone else to see, anymore. ”

Shuffeling back from her, he tried to stand up. “ I don’t go to parties I… I drink alone, if I don’t … want to meet… handsome guys. ”

Being the awful woman that Mackey was, she really liked watching Kai squirm. There was something nice in knowing that you could still strike fear in the 'average' kine. She was starting to feel like she was losing her touch after meeting Kamilah's younger sister.

Little one was fearless, excited to meet people like Mackey and her pig despite their bestial traits. Hm, maybe she was just an odd one, a one of a kind loon.

"Ah, ah, ah, don't be rude" Mackey scolded as she stood up straight, mimicking how she felt Kamilah would handle this situation, "It isn't polite before meeting all of your business partners, especially since he's been waiting soooo patiently over there"

As the gangrel spoke she motioned behind herself, near the entrance to the graveyard where a hulking beast now stood. A being just as grungy as Mackey if not more stood hunched at the height of 6ft, shoulders slumped forward as a large meaty hand reached out to grab the wall near him. If the lout ever stood tall he'd easily reach 7ft as he was a very very large pig.

Even in life he had been a rather huge individual, but in death, he only seemed to grow bigger and if Mackey had to guess, he was somewhere between 400lbs of muscle and chub. 

Something about him felt more animalistic than the small female before Kai despite the fact that the man was covered head from two in dirt-covered clothes. His usual assemble was a good sturdy pair of pants, and under short, hoodie, and then a tough jacket over that seemed to be ripping around one of the shoulders. 

The only nice thing he seemed to own was the soft knitted red scarf around his neck that covered any bit of his face that his hood didn't. A little clumsy in make but still crafted with care.

Little could be seen of the pig from this distance in the darkness, only bits of him seemed to be illuminated by the dull street lamp nearby, almost all features hidden in darkness besides two glowing eyes, such as a cat, staring Kai down as a low grumble of a growl was heard.

Not that it mattered much, but Kai really didn’t like how she treated the body. Sure, it was past its prime, but that didn’t mean he fully lost his affection for it. It had been a good companion, as all his companions were… Wincing at harsh words, they were confusing him even more as she spoke, if not worrying. “ P… pig… What do you mean pig… People call police pigs… That’s who people would tell… Right? You’re not people so… A farm…? ” Muttering to himself, trying to figure any inkling of the situation out. Chewing his thumb bloody, whimpering softly when she cackled so. He didn’t like this one bit. Being scolded like this, when he hadn’t done anything wrong. Had he? Well he had. But she was scolding him for something else. “ I… I didn’t know…! I don’t commit sins… I don’t wanna go to hell… I’m good, I swear… ” Very quiet protests, but he already knew he had little choice but obey. No matter how unfairly he had been scolded, it was still ever painful on his mind. Fidgeting with his hands, picking at his skin he just nodded as she laid out the rules for it. He hesitated a moment as she stood up, slowly wobbling his way up on his own two feet. Never during the day. Not that he would ever try and transport or kidnap anyone during the day. Too many people out, to many who could see. But it was almost suspicious that she’d mention something like that. Jumping with a squeak when she suddenly moved her hand against him, he really believed it was out to harm him. Although, when it didn’t, he just eyed her cautiously. Reaching out his trembling, sweaty hand to give her the weakest handshake in history. “ N… Never during the day. Only night… When it happens…. SaveLots… ”

“I’m not people?” Her voice sounded oh so amused while attempting to sound offended. Not people, huh? She figured he was tripping over his words now, letting them fall out of his mouth the very second they entered his head...But even then it was enough to laugh at.

Well, she supposed there was truth to it.

“Oh no, I call police pigs as well. But this ain’t those pigs, this is my pig” There was a chattering noise beneath her hood as teeth chattered together. Another sound that emitted from this woman's throat that shouldn’t have been possible.

“Would you like to meet my pig~? He’s a bit of a boar but, haha, he can be fun at parties.” She had to take a moment to appreciate her joke. “An he’s real real good at sniffin out the dead. You’ll be workin with him as well, so wanna meet ya other business partner? Hm?”

Hm, the kid didn’t seem to be all here. She could almost confuse him for a Malk, or one of their ghouls. Paranoia seemed to be a fun trait some of them shared. Shame she hated the Malkavian, something about them just put her Beast on edge. 

As discomforting as her interest in his bodies were, he was at least happy that the focus was of him. A brief moment of respite, shuffling back slightly to try and recover, catch himself a break. Could he maybe escape? No. He didn’t know why, but it felt like there was no option. 

Wincing embarrassed at the topic of clothes, he promptly started away from her, curling up where he sat. “ I… I have them… I keep them, a while… They’re treasures, memories… If I don’t… I will forget if I don’t have them… I forget, if I do, I have to do it over again… ”

He did not like where the conversation was going. He’d gone unnoticed until now, so he wanted to refute her point. But then, it was something that would fall apart considering that he’d actually been caught now. Redhanded. And she knew. The worst possible outcomes circled around his head. Surely he’d get in jail for this. Death Sentence. Hanging. He’d go to hell for sure-

“ Wh… What? ” It shocked him, eyes staring back at her in bewilderment. Had he heard her right? He shook his head, eyes darting as he tried to think, tried to figure it out. “ No choice, can’t opt out, can’t… She says that, she’s right… Uhm… So… So… ”

Chewing on his thumb, he furrowed his eyebrows. “ And you… you won’t tell anyone? You won’t? I don’t… it’s not often… I don’t do it often… I don’t mean to do it. I don’t plan I… I’m just… I prepare… ”

Mackey chuckled, a soft little sound laced with something dangerous while her hands reached out, claws digging into the bag, pulling the body closer to her. Claiming what she felt was rightfully hers.

“Come on ya daft cunt, who would I tell? Well...” Mackey was silent for a second, fingers carefully kneading into the back, into the body. “The pig will know, but it wouldn’t be polite for me to keep it from him. This is my territory as much as it is his”

The little chimera of a kindred then cackled, knowing the ‘pig’ was close by and that he could hear everything that was going on.

“This is your tribute to us, lick. We’ve caught you on our land, it’s obvious you’ve been doing business here without informing us, which is rude, and now in turn for us allowing to you continue this work and to make up your past sins, we have entered a business deal. It doesn’t have to be often, here and there is wise, and you will come to us, to the SaveLots, each time. Got it?”

Mackey now stood up, picking up the bag as she went.

“One rule though, kiddo. Don’t ever stop by durin' the day, okay? That’s a little too, hmmm, obvious an it’s right best to keep some things hidden to the darkness of night”

With that, Mackey shifted the body onto a shoulder and extended her free hand to Kai.

What could he do but listen in horror as all of his excuses were so mockingly repeated to him. He wasn’t dumb, he could tell that there was nothing he could say to make her believe anything other than the disgusting acts he’d committed. He’d feel more ashamed, more guilt if the overwhelming fear of the consequences weren’t so heavy.

Wincing, he kept adamant about not looking at her, staring away. He could only hear the rustling of the bag, feeling the cold sweat run down his skin. The body seemed to be in a pristine condition, how he’d managed to lift it with his seemingly feeble body was a miracle. Or maybe he had grown used to it. By all means, it looked like someone had died in their sleep, of natural causes… Were it not for the odd bruises on its neck. The deterioration of the body had almost halted to a stop. Someone who had clearly taken great care of it, embalming and taken all kinds of preventative measures to prevent the rot. Kai could only wish, hope to god that she didn’t pull it further out of the bag. It was a naked body after all, why would he bother putting clothes on it? Besides, clothes left traces. He just kept chewing up his fingers until they bled, thoughts running around in his head. Desperately trying to come up with how to get out of this situation. But as far as she was acting… She didn’t seem to be concerned. The question blurted out, a mix of wanting answers and simply thinking out loud.

“ W… what… what do you want…? ”

“Hm, pretty good job ‘ere, kid” The gangrel praised as she did a quick inspection of the body...Yeah, yeah this was a lot cleaner than anything they’d dig up. For now, she seemed to pay more attention to the body itself then the kine.

Like a cat who felt pretty confident that the mouse wouldn’t attack them while they played with another meal.

“Shame you took the clothes off though” Mackey they groaned, able to see that the corpse was at least without a shirt and could only assume that nothing was left behind to help identify them as far as possessions went. “Next time, leave the clothes. Hm, or not. Remove them, wash them and then bring them back ‘ere”

A crooked smile spread across her face, fangs bared as she spoke.

“I know yer kind kid, you’ve done this before and you’ll do it again. But burin it out ‘ere? Not so smart, hell, it’s a wonder we haven't caught ya out ‘ere in our territory before!”

Mackey let out a small growl, a rumbling from deep within her chest as she moved closer, one hand still on the bag.

The weight of his mistake felt like it dropped on him on an anvil, trembling as he stared down into the ground. Maybe if he stared at the dirt long enough she’d just disappear? Out of sight out of mind? He could only hope, because he desperately wished for this situation to end. “ N…n…no…no… I’m sorry… I’m really sorry… ” He mumbled frantically, starting to chew on his thumb, almost hiding behind his hands where he sat. He didn’t wanna be punished again. And rather than disappearing; he could hear her coming closer, and closer. He didn’t dare looking up, body tensing up as his heart beat in a painful manner. Her commanding tone made him flinch, but it was clear. As much as he didn’t wanna answer, it didn’t feel like he had a choice. “ B… body… From the morgue… It couldn’t last longer… I didn’t kill it, I didn’t kill him this time… not this time… it wasn’t me… ” In his frantic attempts to make himself look better, he’d only incriminate himself more, feeling the words slipping. “ He… No one would’ve noticed… no one notices… I make sure… He was gonna be buried anyway… ”

“Sorry?” Mackey chirped, a hand to her lips while her overall body language felt mocking. A paradoy of not understanding whatever he meant. Sorry for what?

“Sorry for what~? It was surely his time, what can do. Surely this was out of your hands. Surely the normal graveyard is just too full for another body” She was giving him all the excuses, all while obviously believing none of them. Still, she sounded amused, almost pleased even and soon she knelt in front of the young man while reaching for the bag.

“Let’s see what you got then, what kinda condition is this poor sap in” With clawed hands, the Gangrel would rip through the bag near the top.

She wasn’t about to tell her little criminal here that he may have just made her night easier, but he may have just made her night easier. From time to time she collected dead bodies to turn into a Tzimsice she owed a boon to, but it was so hard to find good dead bodies, especially since the ones in the ground were almost all already tampered with.
