I’m just pretending that the only book that is canon is Carry On and the rest it’s just some crazy fanfic a random lady wrote

i kind of don’t really know what i think about it yet, but i want to discuss sooo bad I’m just gonna try to rant about it here

for starters i do think it is a good book, a great book, really fun to read

bUt

it is so different from Carry On

i mean, i was totally expecting something different, like i thought we were gonna see more of the baz and simon we saw in the end of Carry On, i wanted cute happy boyfriends living a cute happy life together

or at least that’s what i thought i wanted (because let’s be honest, any one who wants that can just go search like any fan fiction)

and i was so surprised that things didn’t turned out perfect between simon and baz, but if you actually think about it makes sense, i mean once their hole interactions used to be fights it’s logical that they don’t know how to talk about feelings in healthy ways

and i love that the book feels like a complete mess, because it is, everyone is

they all have a looot of things to work out, i get it

i just wish we got to see them work them out, because at least i didn’t feel the end very hopeful, and i just feel really sad about that

i’m sad about everything and i really miss the feeling the first book left me
