Being Latina, it is nice to play a strong female on TV. The role of Isabelle was not written for a Latina originally, so I feel a responsibility to represent Latina’s and women in general as well. Isabelle is strong and fierce, embraces her sexuality, is not afraid to be intelligent, and is close with her family. I admire those qualities the most in her.
