All the art talk is going around, and it made me think Jack would probably like photography. Spends so long taking photos of himself, he notices the shading, the backgrounds, and all of the sudden it’s a passion instead of a source of anxiety in his day to day…still hates when normal reporters take photos of himself though.

I present my idea 😋

Now he can professionally tear it apart to his friends, and they won’t think he just has image issues! (They all do, they’re heros who aren’t treated like people in and out of costumes, but shhhh it’s okay)

Acknowledging that the Incredibles verse is, yknow, a children’s movie and a Disney universe so it won’t be too dark, do you guys ever think that the supers have killed anyone?

I’m thinking specifically about Jack for a second, but Blazestone, all the hero’s whose powers are naturally destructive, aside from level A monitoring, do you think they relate in that? All of the super dangerous hero’s, even Hypershock who normally doesn’t seem the type to be friends with Gamma Jack, do you think they all have some kind of separate bond?

To be born with ‘gifts’ that melt skin to blackened bone beneath un-careful fingertips, flames that engulf anything you lash out at, shockwaves that destroy houses, mountains, cause earthquakes, probably can cause sinkholes in the process. Is there a camaraderie there?

Gazerbeam probably joins this group I’d imagine. Plus the ways they cope would be so different, they balance each other. Gazerbeam to keep everyone grounded, Hypershock to show people they’re allowed to relax despite their powers, think the alcohol which requires a level of self control to a point, Blazestone makes sure everyone can vent and speak, so they don’t feel crazy in their power and insanity because she’s just as insane, so your not alone! Then Jack to ensure everyone doesn’t feel ashamed of their powers, instead they should embrace and love themselves for it, even if it’s easier said then done.

I donno, just the idea of melting someone with a misfired emotion or wrecking a neighborhood really speaks to me. Mr Incredible is probably in there somewhere as well. Universal Man probably stops by every now and then. Maybe Everseer? I donno, I’d have to think on it more, other then power leveling, there’s other stuff to consider.

I would be incredibly sad, but also incredibly amused if it came out Jack couldn’t fly. Like, he wears the cape for funsies, just cause he thinks it looks cool, and cause a skin tight suit would be awkward to wear. He isn’t like Mr Incredible! He has standards of fashion!

It could also function as like a fan, maybe? I donno, I’ve seen a lot of people talk about how Jack must be hot considering the radiation in his body, and considering that, it may be cooling. Edna could probably figured something out like that. Not these days though, as Edna says, NO CAPES!

There’s something to be said about the fact that Simon in MII fell in love with Jack first, he rejected him, then Simon FINALLY got over him, over for Jack to fall in love, Simon to then fall for him AGAIN, and now the two just live together crushing, while not doing anything about it.
