Anyway are some of you also forgetting that Taylor is directly giving a lot of her money off touring to Republic so it can be redistributed among all the artists on the labels even the ones who are just starting out? And are you forgettting that Taylor pays her entire touring band YEAR ROUND. I find it absurd some of you hate her so much for being a multimillionaire and disregard every single thing in her life cause “uwu she’s a millionaire she shouldn’t care about things that make her sad” like Taylor is very aware of her money and is obviously trying in ways to redeem that? By paying her band year round, by fighting for other artists to get their coin, by donating a shit ton of money to different charities?

I know we talk about this endlessly, but Taylor’s raw talent is scary. The fact that she wrote the lyrics and melody to cardigan in a matter of hours and it sounds pretty much exactly the same as the final take, which is universally agreed-upon to be a great song, is SCARY… It’s beyond talent. It’s a calling.
