𝐿𝑈𝑆𝑇 𝛳𝐹 𝛴𝑉𝐼𝐿

beloveds, i am here to say i am rising from the ashes of holiday celebrations and i shall hopefully be here this weekend. sorry for the disappearance but this week has been crazy at work + i am not mentally in the best of places but! i'm doing better and i miss you guys and tyler sooooo i will try to tackle some things these next couple of days. happy new year to everyone 💙

tyler didn't start therapy when he lost his mom, it is actually a relatively recent thing. he has struggled with anger issues for as long as he can remember. he sometimes lashes out, gets overprotective, will start fights if he sees someone acting up, ends up getting along with the wrong kind of people who very much targetted and bullied others ( xavier is the perfect example ). when he told wednesday he did not know why he did it, it was genuine. he didn't understand why he can get so angry sometimes, why it feels good to bring someone down when he is not the kind of person who wishes harm to people who do not deserve it. it's like he becomes a different person, and for a very long time he did not know why. learning about the hyde started putting pieces of the puzzle together, and therapy also helped him talk about his feelings and about his mom, he feels like he doesn't have someone to talk to about her since his father refuses to. but since he's not being completely honest in therapy ( as in he can't really say he's a monster ), it stops having much effect, especially considering he's not in full control of the hyde. one of the reasons why i think tyler fighting people is not really unusual is the scene where wednesday kicks lucas' and his friends asses at the weathervane. when his dad comes in he is doubting that tyler had nothing to do with it. and obviously he does so because he's looking at a 5-foot-tall girl who looks physically harmless even if spooky, but he also found it to be plausible for tyler to have done it, which means ty kicking someone's ass isn't really anything new. it looks like he's about to lecture him about having done something like that again.

i like to think about my muse's future. so i'm sitting here thinking ok what is tyler going to do when he's older? and it's just... blank. not even bc of the whole hyde situation, because i do think with time he will be able to properly control and manage that, even if it's very much present but it's more like a use it when i want it and not a i have no idea what's going on thing. i feel like even regarding masters it'll be easier because not just anyone will manage to control him, he has learnt his lesson. but the thing is : i feel like ty doesn't really know what he wants to do. he's very confused and still doesn't know himself, so it's hard for him to easily say what he wants to do or to imagine himself in 5 / 10 / 20 years. what he's sure of is that he wants to get out of that town as soon as he can.
