               his  passion  was  something  else.  though  it  was  nothing  metal  bat  wasn’t  used  to  ;  running  into  other  heroes  with  that  same  fire  in  them,  he  was  exposed  to  it  as  much  as  the  next  person.  he  had  no  reaction  towards  it,  only  did  he  when  the  other  hero  grew  near  to  him.   ❛   hey,  dude,  take  a  step  back.   ❜   he  took  two  steps  back  himself,  one  brow  shot  up  as  he  eyed  the  male.  no  surprise  he  knew  of  his  identity.   ❛   passionate  ?    ❜   was  he  ?  or  was  that  the  fighting  spirit  in  him  that  gave  birth  to  such  an  image  ?   

    ❛   i  dunno  about  all  that.  i  just  call  it  fighting  spirit  !    ❜   he  griped  down  on  his  bat,  lifting  it  up  from  its  initial  place  on  his  shoulder.  he  brought  it  over  &  under  his  chest,  now  cupping  it  with  both  hands.  showcasing  it  ?  or  simply  admiring  the  strength  it  was  created  with  ?  a  smile  was  set  in  place.  he  found  himself  ecstatic  again.    ❛   using  a  bat  gets  me  fired  up  &  ready  for  any  monster  that  wants  to  try  it  !    ❜

❛ ah ----- i’m sorry! ❜ the bow that follows is deep ; so much so that inasa seems to fold in half, all six feet, two inches vaulted forward in contrition. and despite the apparent discomfort of that position, he’s able to take a couple steps back, broadening the space between them. ❛ i’m just very excited to meet you, ❜  he continues, voice sharp even with his head between his legs. ❛ i love heroes! ❜

the reference goes right over his head ( inasa? in a hot topic? ). but that’s neither here nor there when he’s already vibrating, bursting with a million and one things to say. “a hot topic? like what?! we can talk about anything, you know —- but is there anything hotter than passion? heroes?!” his voice cracks over the syllables, which only amps him up further ; everyone better get comfortable. “i think that endeavor’s a good choice —- a HOT topic…LITERALLY!” the laughter that leaves him shakes the room, the only sound more ardent the slap of his palm as it lands against his knee. the impact stings —- his skin turning angry red as a testament —- but it doesn’t stop him from repeating the action until his laughter dies down and is replaced, instead, with a content hum.
