The Raptor Collector!

Panacea rewound time for him. Gave him back his old body—the one he had before the Malaise, before the endless search for a cure. He was a brazen, scrappy young lad. He looked to the stars, forged new ones. Tonight he just wants to have fun. Spin on the cell vessel because it feels great. Summon a meteor in some over-the-top pose. Show the Beheaded his awesome skills! It's not like that immortal homunculus is in any real danger.

And yet, the Collector remembers everything. His real life. The misery, the suffering, the utter despair—it's all still inside him. Only now it's compounded by the sheer confusion of his sudden transformation. He's bewildered, completely unable to regain control. For a person who clings to control, there is no greater nightmare. So between phases, the Collector just falls down and goes still, desperately trying to pull himself together. Perhaps if the Beheaded had spared him another second... but how is he to know what's going through that mind? He sees a frenzied monster—and strikes.

Last book + last film: Re-read and re-watched The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It’s such a cool experience, honestly. Going through them back-to-back, you really start to notice how some concepts shift and new ideas appear. It's especially entertaining when those changes make scenes and plots that are logical for their book/movie look strange if you know the whole story.

Last TV series: Pass? I'm not really into series because I like concentrated storytelling, without too much filler. So, uh... does binging UI/UX tutorials count?

Last game: Dead Cells!! I don't even like rogue-likes. The whole 'start over when you die' thing really annoys me. But somehow, after Silksong, I beat all the monsters and climbed from cell 2 to 5 in two weeks. And then... she was waiting for me. The Collector's Intern. I swear my squeal of awwwww~ was heard across the entire city. The Collector? Five losses because I kept staring at his cute raptor feet instead of fighting. Now I've been drawing my babies for three days. Yeah, I don't like rogue-likes, sure!

Last song: Spanish covers of my favorite songs. By all the stars, I always knew it was a stunning language, but I wasn't prepared for JUST how stunning. I'm absolutely in love. Those sing-songy vowels and sharp consonants! The words themselves also sound incredible... I'm totally planning to learn Spanish as soon as I've dealt with all my uni workload.

Coffee or tea: TEA! Though in the last six months I've suddenly developed a taste for lots of foods I used to hate: coffee, red onions, tomatoes... Is this the you'll love it when you're older moment my mom was talking about...?

Sweet or salty: Salty! I love sweets and all, but can anything really beat pizza with an epic cheese pull?!

Working on: My first web-app, so I haven't posted much. You know that stage when you're starting something new and you just want to cry? You understand nothing, you're stressed about deadlines, and the amount of material just feels impossible. Well, that was me. BUT. I'm finally getting the hang of it! Now I'm actually enjoying discovering cool features. (And yes, still drawing that Dead Cells art—priorities, right?)
