I know people can’t see past the shipping, but leaving that aside and creating a parallel between the Lord of the flies characters and those from ATLA, I can entirely agree that Ralph is the most similar to Katara

(Jack is also to Zuko in some ways, but I will focus now on the Ralph-Katara similarities)

In any case, why is Ralph so similar to Katara?

Reasons:

- Both Ralph and Katara show determination, passion, hard work, resilience

- Both Ralph and Katara can be quite bossy and controlling

- Both Ralph and Katara are easily irritated by stupid people, and they become emotional and even fierce and when they are challenged

  - Both Ralph and Katara can be playful, yet  serious and stern when they need to be

- Both Ralph and Katara stand up for themselves and never let themselves be stepped on - especially by their rivals/enemies. 

Now some moments of Zuko that remind me of Jack 

And some moments of Aang that remind me of Simon

being Jesus spiritual

gathered a compilation of perky jock ralph and classy nerd jack because it’s my favorite ‘what if’ of them, this would be the actual versions of them if the island didn’t happen

(even tho I think jack is canonically both nerd/jock combined into a massive d)

Am I too late for the party????????!!!!!!!!!! I just binge-watched 3 season the last air bender yesterday and how come this WAS NOT in my childhood????????

(seriously tho it was based on Ancient Chinese culture but we didn’t have this on TV!!)
