im so bad at flirting so this was tough to write , plus you write so well that i was feeling a bit intimidated haha, but hopefully you like it !!
Kya was lost in her own world when the volleyball colided with her body awkwardly. She had been hitting the ball back and forth with Izumi and her friend, Rei. But when Lin arrived on the beach, looking entierly too good in her swimsuit, Kya completely lost focus. She let out a yelp, that was embarrassingly loud, when reality came crashing into her.
"You are absolutely ridiculous, you know that?" Izumi replied. Kya shrugged in a way that asked 'what?'. At that, Izumi mimicked her, putting her hand on her hip and twirling her hair in an exaggerated fashion, Rei covered her mouth, covering a snort. Kya glared at both of them and childishly stuck her tongue out. Izumi rolled her eyes, "Just go get the ball. We'll meet you on the court." They turned to leave, Izumi continued to mimic Kyas hair twirling as they did so, making Rei giggle overtly. "I do not look like that." Kya huffed to herself, walking away to retrieve the ball. Which so happened to landed at the feet of the very person that had her so distracted in the first place.
"Lin!" Kya called out, putting on her most charming smile, "Wanna join us? We can play a 2 v 2 match." she suggested, gesturing over her shoulder to her Izumi and Rei. Lin considered it for a moment, spinning the ball around in her hands. She looked Kya up and down, "I'm not sure thats a good idea... looks like you might have two left hands." she replied with a knowing smirk. Heat began to rise in her cheeks when she realized Lin must have witnessed the embarrassing hit she took just a moment ago. The heat deep in her belly didnt allow her to dwell on the moment for long. "Oh feeling cocky are we?" Kya lilted, "I'm better than I look, I can take you."
A smile began to lift on Lins lips before she regained her usual steady composure. She moved toward the waterbender until they were only a few inches apart. Dispite her smaller stature, Lins pressense was dominating. Kya tensed, and cursed the flush in her cheeks that was surely visible. Lins eyes narrowed and her voice was low, "Is that a challenge?" she taunted. Kya fought to maintain eye contact, but
Kyas head was absolutely swimming, she fought to maintain eye contact, but Lin was so close, her darting gaze kept flicking down to her perfectly plump lips. Kya licked her own and took in a shaky breath, attempt ming to find something to say as she realized she should have responded by now. A full grin broke out across Lins face, she was entirely too please with herself. "I call Zumi's team" Lin stated as she pushed the ball into Kyas arms, and she brushed past to head towards the volleyball court.
