Re what was happening to Armand in that gifset: after cutting off Louis' head and having a weird and meandering monologue to him in which the writers made him say "make armends" two times, and torturing fake Claudia, Louis suddenly starts talking about how sad it is that Armand was a child sex slave and it's a shame things didn't work out between them etc. Whole conversation was so bizarre and tonally strange I was crying real tears of laughter
