Ahhhh I love to read! Perhaps more than what is considered normal. So I have created a list of books, that I believe every young adult should read before heading off to university.

Okay, it's reached that moment... You have graduated from high school or you are currently in your senior year, either way, you are getting pressurised to start your University applications. Fun! yeah, not really. More like borderline anxiety attack material. Here are my words of advice, tips and personal experience having just sent in my last university application.

It's the new year, and with that comes trying out Christmas gifts from your parents and actually believing you will follow through with your new years resolutions (check mine out over here). Thus, January is a month of discovering and here is what has caught my attention, making it to my faves list...

I should be aiming to convince you on how the concept of New Years Resolutions is wrong and de-motivating, as the idea of unrealistically thinking of a better and more perfect you is unnatural and morale shattering. But, I'm not gonna lie and pretend I'm not human, because as soon as the clock striked midnight on the 31st of December, I had already started listing my hopes and goals for the 365 days ahead of me... 

So you've just graduated from high school, although you probably fantasised the thought too much and did not consider the serious realities.

So it's happened, I officially graduated from high school today. Within this short time period, I have celebrated with friends over a glass of champagne and had a mental breakdown whilst listening to early 2000s music. Could this be foreshadowing? Is this what awaits me in adulthood? Although I'm not complaining regarding my music and beverage choices ;-)

So it's your first time celebrating New Year's as a legal adult, however, the reality of your night falls short of the expectant image you built-up within your mind...
