🌮 - stop by a food truck
“You look way too serious about this menu,” Natalya teased, her tone warm with laughter as she watched him study it like every choice was life or death. The longer he hesitated, the more she found herself entertained and tempted. She leaned in close, lips nearly brushing his ear, her voice dropping to a playful murmur. “Don’t worry…” Her smile curved slow and knowing as her breath ghosted against his skin. “I’ll distract you.”

"There's a whole lot to choose from and I want to order something worthwhile, can you blame me?" Gabe chuckled lightly, his eyes scanning as beside him Natalya began plotting. Upon her attempts, he didn’t look up right away. His eyes were still locked on the menu, but the corners of his mouth twitched like he was trying to hide a smile– and losing. “Oh, good,” he murmured, his voice low and steady, though his pulse had picked up under her breath. “Because choosing between the chicken or the beef was starting to feel like a moral crisis.” He finally turned his head, meeting her gaze with the faintest arch of a brow. “But if you keep talking like that, I’m gonna forget how to read entirely.”
