Eyes Gleam Mean || Gabe & Blaine
Blaine looked to Gabe and noticed how the other glanced down to his lips before back to his eyes and Blaine felt himself doing the same. He didn’t understand that whenever him and Gabe were in a close proximity they ended in a lip lock that both left them annoyed at themselves for letting it happen. He felt the squeeze of his hand and smiled, “It’s not a problem Gabe, I’ll always be here for you.” He felt his hand and side become cold as Gabe moved up and off the couch before disappearing behind it. Hearing about Atticus Blaine let out a sigh and ran a hand through his hair, it seemed to always come back to Gab’es brother and right now Blaine didn’t really want to think about Atticus. “No, he still hasn’t really been around. Either that or he’s avoiding me.” He chuckled and shook his head. “I think it might be done, that nothing is going to become of it. I didn’t want to end it in the first place and he did. Maybe it wasn’t because of the reasons he said, maybe it was just because he didn’t want to be held down. But I can’t just pine over him anymore. It’s too much of an ache.” He said biting his lip shaking his head. “I think you might be right but it’s moving on that’s going to be the hard part. Some people aren’t interested in wanting dates, they just want sex and that’s not what i want.” He moved an arm to rest over his eyes. “I just don’t want to be lonely anymore.”
Blaine looked so small as he said those last words, arm covering his eyes. Gabe felt a surge of something he couldn't place. He hopped on the couch next to him, kneeling over him with a confused expression on his face, the look a dog gets when they can't get the ball, wide eyes and head tilted to one side. "Blaine," he said his name like a question, it sounded heavy on his lips, "will you let me take you out... on a date?" He dragged the other man's arm away from his eyes and hoped with all his willpower that this wouldn't be thrown straight back in his face. "We can go for ice cream or milkshakes or something, " he offered tentatively, eyes doing that flicky thing again and why was he so drawn to Blaine Anderson's lips? For the last few weeks he'd been telling himself that both times they'd locked lips had been justt instinct kicking in, the first time he'd been drunk and the second horribly upset, but maybe now he had to accept that he just felt a weird sort of something about Blaine, even if he was off limits and out of bounds and not someone he should even really be talking to. "Actually that's probably a really fucking stupid idea and why would you want to be seen out with me and... fuck," he stood again, gritting his teeth and lit a cigarette with fumbling fingers.
