A recent piece of my babies!!!

I made some fun bust shots of a DnD elf oc I have, and a maybe side character oc I’ll use for one of my stories.

In June 13, 2024 I lost one of the most precious people to me. I had just graduated highschool, and was (and still am) in some of the worst moments in my life. I had gotten in a car accident (dislocating my right shoulder) before graduation, I was losing friends left and right (including my best friend of 16 years), and was adjusting to my new adult life. My mind and body feeling heavy everyday with exhaustion and pain. So when my grandpa passed away it was like something completely shattered. I had a panic attack that night from just being within my own home, making me inconsolable. I ended up needing to just slip on whatever shoes I could find (my open toed slides) and left the house to clear my head. I wasn’t dressed for the chill June night and was holding myself as I tried to call anyone close by. My best friend now lived too far away for me to walk over, and the people I still had contact with were on family vacations. So I just walked around my home neighborhood, crying, and calling anyone to help calm me down. I would’ve stayed out longer, but soon my older brother called me, talking to me about all the blessing we had with my grandpa getting just a few more years with us before he passed. It was my older brother that honestly saved me that night. Idk what I would’ve done if it wasn’t for him calling me. When his funeral happened that Saturday (June 15, 2024) I cried, laughed, and reminisced about my grandpa. He was such a good man who loved his wife, made a plethora of jokes with the family, loved talking about his life, watched the news like it was his life, and carved his own canes to walk with. One of those canes becoming mine. It has honestly become one of my most prized possessions, reminding me that my old man is having the time of his life, causing havoc in heaven. This art piece is just for him, despite it being sad, I think it holds a lot of meaning for me. I love you grandpa ❤️ May we meet again in the afterlife.
