Song: Evening Alley Composer: Various Album: Pom Poko (Image Album)
Another song from probably a less popular Ghibli film, Pom Poko. A very Asian sounding song, this :)

It must be great to know what you want to do. I’ve got no idea at all. I just go from one day to the next.

Whisper of the Heart
Whisper of the Heart is an animated studio ghibli film directed by Yoshifumi Kondô in 1995. This film is an almost adventuristic love story. The girl, Shizuku, always checks out books from the library that has the same boy’s name stamped. When she finally meets the boy she doesn’t know it’s her ‘prince of books’ and immediately they don’t get along. Throughout the movie they start to bond~ It’s a good love story.

I’m back to making bags!
It takes me so much more time to make them, no that i’m working full time. But i finished all 5 of them, and going to add them to my shop on the next couple of days :-)
The bag’s Inspired by the studio ghibli movie “My neighbour Totoro”, when totoro is waiting in the bus stom, and is given an umbrella =^.^= Made with cream-red-green-pink polka-dot fabric, the pocket with red colored fabric.
You can buy the bag here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/75606207/polka-dots-and-red-kawaii-totoro-with

Studio Ghibli 30 Day Challenge: 08 - Favorite Director?
erunelle:
Hayao Miyazaki
I simply adore Hayao Miyazaki. I feel a little bad to be choosing him since he’s kind of an obvious choice, but he is nevertheless my favorite director. Miyazaki just has this way of bringing things to life, creating empowering heroines, and invoking a strong enviromental theme. I find his films amazing and awe-inspiring, and he is one of the few directors to astound me in such a fashion.

I made Phil a Totoro cake for his birthday (also check the dino candles)
Sure, but they need to be cut and polished first. When you first become an artist, you’re like that rock. You’re in a raw, unnatural state, with hidden gems inside. You need to dig down deep and find the emeralds tucked away inside you. And that’s just the beginning. Once you’ve found your gems, you have to polish them. It takes a lot of hard work.
