About this question, I made a little research. The news was out in 2010, when was announced the fourth and last season. Wasn't oficial, was a Billie Piper's declaration.

I don't know if the movie is still in mind of producers but I don't think so. First, because if movie does, would be with Showtime or Lionsgate, who broadcasted Secret Diary in USA. And something weird happens with Lionsgate, because they decided not realize third season in DVD. That is an indicator.

But the most important is Billie is now living in USA, working with Showtime in Penny Dreadful, a new series. So, if she is interested, she should have to travel to London. Also, Iddo Goldberg and Ashley Madweke are working in Salem. The full cast has other projects.

But I have to admit, I can't wait to see Billie in Penny Dreadful.
