AUDITION RECAP
Each company had time to put together an audition. The had up to 4 minutes, and it had to be live. The girls performed it in front of the rest of the contestants, as well as the 5 mentors/coaches/trainers.
3609 -- Luv Me
The girls were criticized on their Korean, though since they are from an Thai company, that was overlooked. Lailaâs dancing was atrocious and it looked like her nerves really got the best of her, and Guo Hai struggled a lot throughout-- Jintara looked best by comparison, but the mentor were not impressed overall.

505 -- Already Go Lady
The mentors felt like Yejin did not have the confidence or charisma to pull of the look and feel she was going for. They also found her rapping quite bad, and didnât get to hear enough of her signing to really get to judge it.

Avex -- Why Not
The Avex trainees were complimented on their talent and composure-- they were told that they looked like they could be a real group performing live. The mentors mentioned that Akara paled in comparison to the other four, and how that was unfortunate and they wished they could see more from her.
Kazumi (Sehee) -- B Grade Okimi (Kimi) -- A Grade Juno (Hyeongeun) -- A Grade Makusari (Jinhee) -- C Grade Akara (Sora) -- F Grade
Columbia -- Poison
The trainees were complimented on being a cohesive unit, though that was attributed to them being slated to debut together previously. There were some technical problems, but overall, it was a strong performance.

FFC -- Someone Like U
They were criticized for looking a little disjointed-- while half of the trainees looked very polished, like real idols, that was in sharp contrast with the other two, who fell behind and werenât as impressive.

IL -- Pit a Pat
The only word one of the mentors could think of to describe this performance was âunfortunateâ-- it didnât suit most of the girls, and just felt uninspired and boring.

Since Yoori was one of the only already-established artists on the show, there were big expectations, and she delivered. The mentors complimented her not only on her skill, but on her charisma as well. They said that it seemed more like a concert than and audition.

They had prepared a performance with three trainees, however Shin Juyeon injured herself before the performance, and had to pull out of the competition. While the mentors complimented the two left on how quickly they adapted to the situation, they werenât too impressed with the skills they were shown.

MW -- ZZZ
The mentors told them the performance was fairly basic and average-- not bad, but definitely not standing out. The choreography was fairly repetitive, but it wasnât terrible.
Amy (Hyerim) -- B Grade Violet (Seungji) -- C Grade
New Beat -- 123
Probably one of the worst performances of the day-- the vocals were all over the place, the girls were tripping over each other, and they all forgot their lines and choreography a multitude of times.

Quest -- Fanci
The best dance performance of the entire audition period-- the mentors were very impressed. They also were taken aback by the teamâs vocals, as well as their confidence, since they didnât come from a company, but a dance crew.

While she gave a decent performance, the mentors commented that she probably fit better as a group member rather than a soloist, and that while her dancing was strong, her vocals fell a little flat.
Sihyun (Z.Hera) -- C Grade
SH -- Lipstick
The mentors did not like this performance at all-- they felt it was trying much to hard to be cute, and that it seemed very unnatural and uncomfortable. They mentioned that they were sure the girls were more talented than what they showed.

Sixth Sense -- Hallelujah
A very strong performance all around-- the only problem the mentors had was that they wished they could have heard her sing a little more, but overall, they were very impressed.
April (Jimin) -- A Grade
Sony -- This Love
The vocals were beautiful-- the mentors just took issue with the lack of choreography. When asked to show off their dance ability, the trainees struggled a little, however their vocal performance was good enough to carry over.
Kirae (Haeri) -- B Grade CJ (Minkyung) -- B Grade
Stardom -- Adrenaline
These trainees were supposed to be the host companyâs best, and they were criticized for not holding that up or being as good as expected. They did not showcase their choreography as well as they probably could, and the mentors noted that the song choice was out of Niaâs skill bracket
Maria (Tiffany) -- A Grade Nia (Seohyun) -- D Grade Taeri (Taeyeon) -- C Grade
WM -- Volume Up
This performance was highly criticized. Not only did they pick a song that did not suit them, but they picked one where half the group could not suitably show off their talents, and it fell very flat.
