Does anyone else find it hilarious that their non diver friends think dives are judged solely on the amount of splash?
Huge splash, failed dive
No splash, WHAT AN EPIC DIVE
No attention paid to any other part of the dive hahaha
Morning Practice
that awkward moment
when you're in a meet and you feel your feet hit the water first.
and then you never want to come to the surface because you know you'll hear "incorrect dive"
former diver, broke my back, now a swimmer. (swimming sucks) but that awk moment when youre watching your teammates dive and cringe every time you see flexed feet or bent knees. or that awful feeling you get at a summer pool when kids RUN off the board. like NO YOU CANT DO THAT
YES haha and the board springs back up and looks like its gonna hit them in the head? yeah......

ugh my coach wants me to do a back dive tuck and 1 1/2 front flip off 3 meter. Have you ever done them off highboard? The thought of them scare me more than just doing a reverse off 1 meter lmao ;c
sorry this is late, hopefully you've gotten them off and realized that yes they're super fun! back dive tuck is just a back jump tuck, then kick up! and front 1 1/2 is the same on 3m as it is on 1m (=
hey divers, remember us?
sorry we've been mia... but now that i'm (allyson) in college and i have nothing better to do (lol yeah right) lets see if we can get this blog going again.
how's everybody been? what are you guys up to this season?
let us know <3
That heated argument you get into when people claim diving's not a sport.
Texting your coach about being late to practice

When the water is REALLY cold
You know you're a diver when it's all you think about. When you can't even walk in a straight line without doing your hurdle in your head. When you stand on your toes whenever you can and practice your back jump. When you're diving, nothing else matters. Every entry, every jump, every rip. It's like every problem you've faced, and every tear you've cried, disappears. Diving is my passion, my love, it's what I live for. It's all that makes sense to me. I hope that all of you share this amazing connection to this sport, because I honestly don't think a love like this will ever cross my life again.
