"Just wait three years," He said to me over the phone as I sobbed and clutched my phone painfully, the agony overwhelming. "I know that's a selfish thing to ask, but if you can just wait three years, maybe we can finally be together." It's hard being in a LDR. Especially if there are a thousand things piling against you and your loved one, more things than distance, and it gets harder everyday. I wish I had an inspiring love story about how he and I are fighting the odds and trying to swim against raging current and age, but I can't. I can feel him slipping through my fingers like sand, and his promise of three years still rings in my head as a cry after we've hung up on our Skype call. Pages like this give me hope, though, where nothing else does. Maybe I'll be back here again in a few months or a few years, finally being able to post a "We finally got to meet!" story. I hope so. So thank you guys, for inspiring me everyday to not give up and just continue to wait it out, because it IS worth it, even if it doesn't seem like it now.

This is me and my baby Bryce 😋 we went from living down the street to being 1,810 miles apart ❤️ I was absolutely in love with him at first sight and I haven't stopped yet 😌 I surprised him the other day with a pizza (the same order we had on our last day together) that I called in and had a note put on it to surprise him 😊 he smiled so hard and even teared up because nobody did things like that for him before . he is my world 🔐 and this distance may be difficult but we are stronger than ever and will make it... especially because it's temporary... as I will be moving there in June of 2016 ✈️ 11 months apart will pay off though. He's a senior this year and will attend community college for 2 years so he can stay in town while I finish highschool and we can both go to college together 💕 I love him so much . this feels right . he's my bestfriend, my baby, and my heart 😇 so glad I found him and that this distance doesn't stop us

This is my amazing boyfriend, currently we are 15 hours away from each other. He is in California working.. I'm in Colorado going to school. We went from living 2 minutes from each other, to living in two completely different states. I miss him every day and it definitely is not easy being so far from him. Skype is all we have to see each other till I come home for break. If anything though, this long distance has made us so much stronger in our relationship, it's built trust and made us realize how much we need each other.

I grew up in a small town in Texas. It was quit the rich neighborhood. I had a neighbor who had a crush on me. He would walk by my house many times of the day just to get my attention. Of course, I was in the stages of puberty and didn't give a damn about him. I only cared about guys with bad intentions. We would text here and there. Eventually he gave up, because he felt he wasn't good enough. I moved of course and we had lost connect. I was now living in Oklahoma. Somehow after years of no connect, he had found me again. My intentions were totally different than the first time he tried to get my attention. I wanted to know why this man chose me. What was so special about me that I didn't see? The distance was horrible. We did everything and anything we could just to text each other all day. Then again, our lives got complicated and we broke up. We thought we did what was best for each other. Months later... I still felt something for this stranger. We promised this time we would make it work. This time every second, minute, hour was about communicating with one another. One day I get a text... "I got a train ticket!!" I had no idea where he would even go. He moved in with a friend 2 hours away from where I was living. Working was getting in the way of finally meeting him again. The first time I finally did meet him... Everything around me froze. It was like I was running and he was running to me In slow motion. The moment I hugged him was when I knew the distance and time was worth all those 6 months. I finally got to feel his skin and learn more about him. All my questions were answered the more we got to see each other. Since distance was a struggle we had already we decided "What the hell?" I got a apartment and moved him in. Since day one of him moving in... I can tell you guys... I have never been more happy to just endure something and go through with it. In the beginning... I didn't even know if he was worth waiting for, or if he felt the same. 2 months of living together, he is now my best friend. He proposed the day of my birthday and my life has never been more content. I know now if you fear something, go through with it. Even if you're more happy without risking the hurt. Do it. Stay strong and good things will happen!!

I'm Kayleigh, and this is my lovely girlfriend, Kierstin. We've been through hell together. We dated for a year and a half and we broke up because she couldn't do the distance anymore, then 6 months later the love of my life came back into my life. We've been dating again ever since. It's been over 400 days since I've seen her and I'll see her again on October 3!! I'm so excited. To everyone, keep fighting. If it's meant to be, I promise you, it will be.

11 months of distance, we finally live in the same state as of 3:30 today xD we still have hard times ahead but we can get though anything! <3

First time meeting after 1 year and 10 months! We both cried and it was so exciting I almost peed. ✈️❤️

So me and my boyfriend (Jesus) only live 2 hours away from each other. He lives in Eagle Pass and I live in San Antonio. I had met him when I had a class with him a while back. During the summer of 2015, we have been calling and texting non stop, telling each other stories and etc. He's had feelings for me since last February and I started having feelings for him since June. But when November came around, I confessed the love I have for him and he was really happy to hear. Since then we have been going out and we have been FaceTimeing all the time for more than six hours (I know it's a lot) and we hope to move in with each other when we graduate. I really love this guy, he's all I can really ask for.

Hi! So this is my boyfriend Khial. We've been dating for almost 4 months. (June 7th will be the 4th month) Khial and I live about 1 hour apart. Doesn't seem like it's much, but it is. It's hard for us because we never can be with each other like "normal couples" are. Even though it's hard we are still making it work. Also 4 months isn't that long of a time either, but we both have plans to stay with each other for the rest of our lives. Khial and I are the same person, but In two separate bodies. We have the same likes and dislikes about almost everything. People tell us that we are crazy for having a long distance relationship and that it's crazy to plan out our futures with each other because we are only in high school, but there is no doubt in both of our minds that we were meant to be together ♥︎ :)
