Looking forward to seeing Carol come to the big screen finally.

The Marvel logo appears and fades out. We get a close-up shot of long, blonde hair flowing in a breeze. It’s Carol Danvers’ hair. She’s flying a plane. 

Later, Carol and her hair are caught in the explosion of the Psyche-Magnitron. Her beautiful blonde locks fly in every direction as she’s knocked out, and then, in the aftermath…they begin to glow a golden color. Carol has superpowers.

She uses her powers to transform into the superheroine we know and love: red, blue, and gold uniform, hair wild and proud as it sticks up in her red Kree helmet, eyes set in determination.

The movie ends as Carol flies off into the sky, hair flowing behind her.

She’s Captain Marvel, now. Hair and all.

The folks at Respect Films who are working on that SHE MAKES COMICS documentary wrote asking me for photos of me with fans/Carol Corps that they could use.  As it happens, I don’t have very many…?  Or, most of the ones I do have are not *my photos* so I wouldn’t be able to give them permission to use them.

So, with their okay, I’m turning this over to you —

If you have a photo of me and you (or a group of us) that you wouldn’t mind giving to the documentary, would you email it to them with a statement of your permission?

Scraping some pictures from New York Comic Con off of my phone because I have post-con sadness and also seem to have caught the “Con Crud.”

I love Carol and Peter’s banter but I’d really just like to take a moment to appreciate how she has Space Helmet Hair whenever she takes off her mohawk helmet.
