[BREAKING] Legion Entertainment Officially Announces Justineâs Departure From Lady, Japanese Debut and New Member
On April 9, many Ladybugs were upset to see an announcement on Legion Entertainmentâs official instagram stating that Justine had left not only the group but the company as a whole. As many had known, Justine had been apart of Legion Entertainment since her early teenage years and debuted once before in the girl group Exxile. After a year, she left Exxile to focus on musicals and go into further training, sheâd even released a solo mini album. Due to poor sales, the entire group was disbanded and the members who remained within Legion were placed into the girl group Lady with some new faces.
We reached out to the officials over at Legion Entertainment and this was what one rep had to say.
âThough Lady had a very successful debut, Justine let us know that she was very unhappy. As her contract (along with Nariâs) were for seven years, she decided not to re-sign with the label this year when negotiation was brought up and instead left. We support her future endeavors in whatever she chooses to do.â
The future is not grim for the girl group, however. Nari has been appointed the new leader and the new member replacing Justine as the main vocalist is former child actress and D:VINAâs younger sister, Rae. The group is finishing recording for their debut single in Japan next month but are unsure when they will return to the Korean market however.
