i take comfort in knowing that eventually there will be that one person who never tires of talking to me, who learns exactly how to love me in my own languages, who is comfortable with me in silence, who knows my tea or coffee order inside and out, who notices the slightest change in my mood and asks me what’s wrong, who says ‘let’s work this out together’ and doesn’t just walk away. i take comfort in knowing that when it’s my time to find my person, the universe will gladly guide me to them.
