What am I supposed to do when my honey is sleeping so peacefully? I don't want to wake her from her slumber, but she will probably be upset at me for letting her sleep in too long. I try talking to her to wake her up but she doesn't show any signs of getting up soon. I then try to shake her to give it another shot "MC wake up, it's already past afternoon" but all she does is turn and groan at me, even then she is still as cute as ever to me. I walk towards the curtains and open then wide to let as much of the light from the sun in to shine on her. Though all she does is burrow herself deeper into the blanket she's buried in, at least it'll smell like her for the nights I have to sleep alone. Then I remember what she once told me a different day when I let her sleep in
"Why do you keep letting me sleep in?! You know I have things I want to do more than sleep! "
She's upset at me for not waking her up at the crack of dawn when I got up, and letting her sleep in my bed. Though even when shes mad at me she's so cute with that pout on her face.
"You were sleeping so peacefully, how could you expect me to disturb your much needed sleep? "
"You could've at least tried! All you did was go about your day and only occasionally check if I had gotten up! "
She was right there. I didn't try to wake her and only wanted to see her sleep peacefully and comfortable. Even if I had to pay the price of my beloved being upset and facing away from me.
"Next time I try sleeping in I prefer you scream in my face to wake me up! "
"But my dear I would hate to ever scream at you.."
I put on a show of looking upset at her request but I know she can tell I'm only kidding, well half kidding. I would hate to yell or scream at her. I was never the type to be that way and I never hoped to be.
"I don't care, just do anything to wake me up next time!"
Now that I'm remembering the memory I'm thinking about if I should try it for once or get a scolding when she finally does get up. I hesitate before I try to muster up the highest but not aggressive voice I can make and yell out "WAKE UP MC!"
Only then does she finally get up but not in the way I was expecting. She sits up from the bed before I even finished my sentence. With her messy hair and disheveled clothes she stares at me with piercing eyes. Glaring daggers at me. I only had a couple minutes to try to think about what was coming for me before I felt a weak but still aggressive punch to my stomach. Not strong enough to hurt long after, but long enough to knock the air out of me. Making a small grunt of pain I fall back but steady myself. She looks at me concerned when she finally realized what had happened and got up quickly from the bed where she sat.
"Omg kazoumi are you okay?! Did I accidentally hit you to hard? I'm so sorry I hit you I wasnt thinking straight yet!"
She rushes to me with a look of concern on her face. I know she didnt mean it with a malicious intent so I'm not mad or upset at her for it, but I'm still surprised at the reaction I received which I wasn't expecting. I end up bursting out laughing and she gives me an annoyed look.
"Good morning my dear, you seem quit energized even right as you get up from bed."
"What are you laughing at, this isn't funny!"
"I just love seeing new sides of you Mc, I love you"
She had been shaking me a little but she stops and I can see a faint pink flush form on her cheeks.
She starts walking towards the closet to change into new clothes and while facing away from me I hear a faint mumble
" I love you too kazoumi... "
I walk up from behind her and hug her tightly making sure to not let her shake me off this time.
"Your so cute my dear you know that? "
I can't wait for the next day she sleeps in and maybe then I'll be able to sleep in right next to her too.
