"We all care... some people just have a harder time showing it." Thomas rubbed the back of his neck. "So since you're not allowed out or whatever... we can just hang around here then."

He sighed. “I’ll…think about it. A lot of it’s gonna depend on Dick, ya know?"

Thomas nodded. "Yeah okay."

Jason blinked. “I…" He rubbed the back of his neck. “Well we haven’t talked about it yet. But…well I don’t think I could do that. I mean, if Dick really wants a kid…" He looked up at Thomas. “And now that I’ve met you…well I don’t think I could do that."

Thomas chewed at his bottom lip. "... t.. that's really nice of you, but think about it okay? I'd rather not exist if it means my family and a whole lot of other people are gonna be okay. If you do end up having a kid or kids... Don't name one Thomas?"

"True… but that doesn’t mean you can’t just call him out of the blue for other things right?" Thomas wasn’t Bruce’s number one fan at the moment, but this man was still his grandpa. “Oh right. Reporters. Sorry we don’t have any where I’m from."

"Well…Yeah that’s true. I don’t know. We’re not like normal families who just call each other out of the blue. But I guess I do owe him a call soon." He rubbed the back of his head “You don’t? So no tv then either?" 

"Well if calling is weird, then just drop by the manor? I thought this family was known for being weirdly creepy and likes sneaking up on people?" Thomas nodded. "Yeah we don't. Nope no tv. There's no point to them. No one is gonna sit around and watch it."

"I hope. But it’s better to be on the safe side. We should warn them anyway. Any chance to change that future we should take."

"Y'know a sure way to keep this timeline away from mine... is that you and other dad shouldn't ever have me. No little Thomas around would mean the timeline has changed."

He pressed his lips in a line and opened his eyes to look at Thomas. “But now we can be prepared. If we can find Bruce, find the other heroes, we can warn them. We can be ready."

"I guess... but there's no real way of knowing if what happened will still happen. There were no records that I've seen that indicated I ever time traveled. The timeline might have already shifted because I am here."

"I…haven’t thought about that in a good few years really. Um…I guess I would be head of a business, I did inherit it actually but I would also like to keep travelling on the side and meet different people and see different places. Yeah I know it’s a lame thing," Mik said as he scratched his cheek a little. “Who are your parents?"

"It's not a lame thing. It's something more productive and less crazy than what I do." Because jumping off building and shooting at people was definitely something people considered crazy. "Nightwing and Red Hood. Er, another Red Hood. Sorry I'm not allowed to reveal their names."
