Also; while I do like sort of an "ugly duckling" storyline for him, I still imagine him looking rather average as an older teen/young adult, but having a striking enough appearance, air to him, aura? that he's veeery attractive to whomever is into that. I'm also a sucker for those awful human centipad scars, and I like to think that the beard is the best he found to hide them later on and served as a big boost in his confidence.
