I don't disagree with this but if it doesn't have anything to do with the original game at all, they shouldn't call it Hogwarts Legacy 2. Just give it its own name at that point and don't confuse our tags. I would accept it being HL2 if it continued the Ancient Magic lore. Like each HL installment is a different time period, all centered around AM wielders of those periods that maybe tell the overarching story of the wizarding world's history or generally giving more context to a larger lore. If it's a new game with new characters and nothing connecting it back to the first game then it just makes no sense for it to share a name.

I totally agree about the different title. However, even if they continue the game with the theme of ancient magic, but with such a big time jump and with completely different characters and protagonist, I don't know how much it can still be considered a sequel. I mean imagine searching for content on your tragic Victorian wizards, only to get other characters from, say, the 2000s or 2020s
