i think petz hexing is as hard as you make it in a way, there's a very high ceiling for what you can do so you can start with something very simple and learn what the programs do and then just... keep going! keep trying new things and rely on the collective knowledge of the hexing community to see what can be done and how you might be able to do it. there's a lot of very fantastic and in depth tutorials for specifics out there too, so once you feel like you understand how to edit a file you can seek out things more specific to what you might want to achieve. i wish you luck!!

petz is great because you can have a regular cat interact with a worm off the string

Cross is a fox who just loves to dance!!!

It’s pretty fun seeing dogs dance in this game, especially since there’s a bug that prevents them from dancing in 4 and 5. I got a fixed version of the music box that allows them too so it’s super fun!
