I’m sure you all remember last year’s April Fools joke of “DCI is shutting us down” because our name was “FunTimesInDCI”

Shortly after, we let people know that we underwent new ownership. Here are some posts from last year indicating as such:

However, not everybody was happy with this change

What’s really funny about this is that it’s been us the entire time. Yep. We never underwent “new” ownership. It was an April Fools joke a year in the making.

Yeah yeah, you are probably thinking “they’re just saying that because they get so much hate” but in some of our posts we even hint at it. For example:

What is about 6 months from October 30th, 2014? It’s today, April 1st, 2015.

Nobody caught this and we continued to get hate

Finally, we made a really weird post back in January with one message:

It didn’t mean much then, but it means so much now. It’s been the same since the blog was established. Yeah, we changed the name and the gradient, but it’s been us the entire time. In order to make the joke “believable” we HAD to change a few things. However, one thing that didn’t change was US. So, the material would have been the same either way. Because people THOUGHT it was different people running it, it had a placebo effect on them thinking the stuff had gone down hill. Yeah right. If you were one of the people who sent us hate in the past year because of our “new ownership” then you are an idiot. It’s been us, and it will ALWAYS be us.
