Taking my first stab at the owl-dragons from my Thicket Hymn story! When humans disappeared there was no one around to save what they knew and when it came time that creatures of the land needed their wisdom, they sought the wise old owls. The owls forever seeing and forever hearing collected the knowledge of the world and in time it became a burden unto them. Dragon sickness took hold and they began to horde such things. Some will still share their wisdom, others will defend theirs until their own death.

This is the Queen Mother, a former fertility deity who's followers turned prays for abundance into prayers of excess. She loved offerings of wheat and fish, but when her followers found that offerings of young flesh granted her strength she was force fed until she was seen as a taker rather than giver of life.

I ended up going in game ro find a food spot for a background for this one. Think I found a pretty good one! Do need to resize it a bit more, though.
