The Weapons Of The God of War

Since God of War (2005) a core part of the series has ALWAYS been the focus on Weapons and how Kratos is given power through them. Such as the Blades of Chaos and Blade of Artemis given to him by Ares and Aretmis, even EXTENDING to his third weapon in the first game being The Blade of the Gods! This is such a massive thing cause even after Kratos becomes the God of War in God of War 2 he is given weapons again such as Athena's Blades and the Blade of Olympus which belonged to his Father before him. He even takes the weapons of non gods in this game, The Hammer of Alrik The Barbarian King and the Spear of Destiny from the Dark Rider Satyr leader of The Griffin Riders! Now God of War 3 takes this to the extreme with so MANY WEAPONS, some are given and MOST are taken by force. Athena once again gifts Kratos with new blades called the Blades of Exile, the Claws of Hades, Nemean Cestus, Gauntlet of Zeus, Bow of Apollo, the Golden Fleece! All these are taken by Kratos beating his godly family but in this he is crafted a weapon! Oh.... wait its not really a weapon for him its just Hephaestus's weapon that he couldn't make unless Kratos got something for him so that just another weapon GIVEN to him but not one of his own....Even God of War: Ascension doesn't give his OWN signature weapon of his own origin. Now we hit God of War (2018) here in Norse relams we have the Leviathan Axe which is the weapon of his late wife Faye! That's better than all the weapons he's taken or be given by the gods which all weapons given to him by the gods have been basically traps! We also get the Guardian Shield which was.....a gift from Faye.......on the anniversary of the night they met. Alright another good given weapon what else do we have! I mean we can't count Aretrus and his Talon Bow for his father so that just leaves the Blades of Chaos..... ONCE AGAIN WE CANT GET AWAY FROM THESE COOL BLADES BUT THEY ARENT A GOOD THING! These things helped Kratos ruin his past life so that's not something a God wants to known for the Blades he killed the Greeks with??

So let's head into God of War Ragnarök and we get the same weapons but in this game in this FUCKING GAME! We meet Heimdall who has foresight and a massive dick head so we have to find a way to get past that broken ass foresight! So the Huldra Brothers, Brok & Sindri have an idea of fusing one of their creations called Draupnir a Golden Ring that basically multiply itself infinity with a weapon created by The Lady of the Forge! This is due to the fact that her magic allows her to create the perfect weapon for the user by fusing their blood with the magic item! Meaning that Draupnir Spear is HIS WEAPON HIS OWN GODLY WEAPON! I Love EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS FUCKING SPEAR AND WHAT IT MEANS! So the Spear itself is now the ring and forms from it! (even to the point where its handle looks like the fucking ring!) Now why is it a Spear you might ask well if you DIDNT KNOW Kratos is a goddamn Spartan! And if you know anything about them you know this is THEIR weapon as they almost always seen with it in history and media! Now Kratos was trained since a young age to use a spear and you can see I DIDNT LIST A SINGLE SPEAR OUT OF ALL THE WEAPONS HE HAD USED OVER THE YEARS! (Yes you see why I had to say them now!)

The Draupnir Spear is the perfect Weapon for Spartan who doesn't have to worry about if he can throw his weapon or not because he can always make more, allowing for melee and ranged combat a perfect weapon! Now another this is that this weapon as the element of Wind itself of it! Why does this matter because Kratos's Blade of Chaos (I still have to talk about these and why they are redeemed in this game) have the element of Fire! His spear can blow away the fire caused by his blades..... isn't that just like perfect! The Spear also has a red cloth that has the same design as the one Kratos wore in Greece.... It's the Perfect Weapon for not only the God of War but also the God of Hope, Kratos.
