Apologies for misleading you, but now that I have your attention, Nabende is transgender and living in a refugee camp in South Sudan. The LGBTQIA+ group in the refugee camp is facing extreme challenges of discrimination, homophobia, and starvation. The LGBTQIA+ are unable to work, due to discrimination and fear of losing their lives, so they cannot buy basic necessities. They do not recieve enough food to prevent them from starving. They are struggling and in need of support.
