I’d like to say that I got too busy, but the truth is that I’m just much too lazy to run a halfway up-to-date fanblog for someone who’s actually famous, haha. Besides, I just started this blog to fill a void on Tumblr (after Timothee’s very first fanblog, liltimmytimfan, stopped updating), and, well, that’s really not necessary anymore, haha.

But! I’ve some still got some old stuff on my hard drive that might not have been posted elsewhere, and that I was still planning to post here; I’m going to start with that now.

What I always say to that is, I just encourage people to see the film or read the book, because it’s so clear in watching it how consensual the story is. It’s full of love and care. And, in many ways, with Elio being from the town (in the movie) he’s in his comfort zone, as opposed to the foreigner, Oliver. Elio is the driver of this relationship in many ways.
