Seattle Reign FC has announced the re-signing of forward Beverly Yanez for the 2017 season. Yanez has been with the club since 2015.

Seattle Reign FC has acquired the rights to midfielder Christine Nairn and goalkeeper Madalyn Schiffel from the Washington Spirit.

After spending the 2016 NWSL season with Seattle Reign FC, forward Manon Melis has announced her retirement from professional soccer. It was Melis’ first season playing in the United States, something which had long been a goal for the Netherlands native.

“I wanted to be the person to move this club forward,” said Seattle Reign FC head coach and general manager Laura Harvey. Earlier this week Harvey signed a four-year extension with the club through the 2020 NWSL season.

Seattle Reign FC announced today that the team has exercised options on eleven players, while five other players have been offered new contracts for the upcoming season.

After three incredible seasons with Seattle Reign FC, midfielder Kim Little will be returning to Arsenal Ladies FC of the FA Women’s Super League (FAWSL) in England on a multi-year contract. Little had previously played for Arsenal from 2008 to 2013.

During the upcoming week, Seattle Reign FC will be announcing its team awards for the 2016 season. The awards are voted on by the players, coaches, and technical staff at the club.

This past Thursday, Reign FC partnered with Seattle Sounders FC, Microsoft Store, and the Austen Everett Foundation to raise awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The event supported the launch of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 17 and players from both clubs participated in the first-ever tournament to win the AEF Cup.

In their final regular season match of the 2016 NWSL season, Seattle Reign FC defeated the Houston Dash 3–2. It was Captain Keelin Winters’ final match for Reign FC.
