No, I don’t agree. Nicole and Rachael are simply actors who are very good at what they do. It’s their job to have chemistry on-screen, and they do it beautifully, but that doesn’t mean they would make a good couple in real life. Nicole is not Aster and Rachael is not Vivian - they have their own identities seperate from those characters.

Ooh, this is a great question! In one of the early scenes of the show, the elementary school aged versions of the girls are in the office at school and there’s mention of a male classmate named Tommy Finch who both Stephanie and Alyssa hate, and so bonding over this mutual hatred of Tommy is how they become friends.  I think, initially, it was just supposed to be a working title but then they ended up liking it enough that they decided to use it as the real title, but don’t quote me on that! It was like three years ago so my memory is a little fuzzy. If you’re really curious, you could tweet at tellofilms and ask.
