Our god, is an awesome god

Sometimes my job is nothing but paperwork. And sometimes it’s googling Nic Cage in Con Air.

1. Our obsession kind of died down. Probably because after watching Drive Angry, we were just so emotionally scarred. Roger Ebert wasn’t kidding when he said the movie was so excessive that “even Quentin Tarantino would send flowers”. Plus we’ve been busy with our own lives.

2. We’re in the middle of applying to colleges. Anyone that lives in the U.S. and has been through this process knows how crazy it gets. It’s extremely stressful and teachers like to make us go through hell on top of that.

3. We genuinely like Nick Cage now. Our obsession started out as ironic considering Nick Cage has been in a lot of questionable roles and he’s just ridiculous as both a person and an actor. But you know what? It takes something, call it bravery or insanity, to go all out for a role. Nick Cage is always unabashedly himself, and that’s something that we’ve slowly come to admire about him. Sure, this blog makes fun of him a lot, but its out of some semblance of respect. Nick Cage is a very unique actor, and sometimes he’s a good one.

Though we may not be posting as much anymore, we’re not deleting this blog. We’ll leave it here, for you guys to sift through all the weird photoshopped images and gifs of the one and only Nick Cage. Plus, Nick Cage movies are sentimental to us in a way, considering our current group of friends bonded over watching all of his ridiculous movies.
