So I am OBSESSED IN LOVE WITH A BIG FAN of the original Iron Chef show that aired in Japan from 1993 to 1999. (I loved the weird specials they made after, too.) 

AND NOW FUJI TV IS RELAUNCHING THE SHOW! The link above has a source for the two new episodes that have been aired (Fuji TV is also reairing some of the older episodes of the prior show. :3) but they don’t have English subtitles.

Watching them anyhow and I’m pretty excited. It’s the ‘real’ Iron Chef vibe I loved from the original. The vibe that, I feel, the American version is completely lacking. I love you Alton Brown but you do not have the OVER THE TOP personality needed to be the excited commentator. Sorry man.
