We were staying with my boyfriends mother in KS and she has had a smoking issue for many years. She has lately been smoking around his nieces. 6 mo and 1yr 8 mo. He asked her to stop and brought out vape items he bought her to try.

She flipped. She took it personally and kicked us out in the middle of the night. We came to stay with her to help her while her husband is in the hospital. Before he was hospitalized he asked her to stop smoking inside the house since it was making him feel sicker.

As I was sitting in the driveway watching our things get thrown out I thought to myself what gay and trans teens must experience. This has nothing to do with who I am and it felt terrible. I have money and a car.
