“Well go for the soup then and you can have the pie another time.”

“Why not get both?”

“Thank you- I don’t want to be responsible for your possible injuries. Touch it when I’m not here, please.” 

“How would you be held responsible? If they’re self inflicting, intentional or not, they’re my responsibility.”

“Sorry I’m soccer mom-ing you again, aren’t I?”

“Don’t worry about it. I’ve got three sisters.”

“It’s the first thing I could think of– so, what’s up, dude?”

“Not much. I’ve just been looking for a good story. I think I’m really close to a promotion. I just need one mind blowing story,” Frank paused, “What about you?”

“Woah, don’t touch that. You never know what it could do.” 

“Okay, okay. I won’t touch it,” Frank said, taking a step back.

“What if I help you? You rest for a few hours and I can get you a story.”

“No, don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.”

“Well, what do you drink?”

“I don’t often but anything really.”

“I’m no journalist– but I’d say keep a good balance of both.”

“I try.”

“So, anything new in Frankieville?”

“Frankieville, really?”

“You’re my brother, I’ll always worry about you.” 

“I know but now isn’t one of those moments. I’ll take a red bull now and a nap later and I’ll be good to go.”

“Don’t you know me? I am both ridiculous and offensive.”

“Fair enough,” Frank laughed.

“Alright, alright– but you got to believe in yourself too. You’ll never reach your full potential if you keep thinking you’re not good enough.”

“I do believe in myself but I have to be critical at the same time.”

“Like what?”

“Wait for my editor to give me news about the article. Write an article for tomorrow’s news and the day after that and the day after that. My job doesn’t stop. I have to find a story.”

“I didn’t say there was anything wrong with it.”

“No, I guess you didn’t.”

“Course not, drinking alone is boring.”
