he turns another corner, this time at least a flyer on the wall looking familiar enough. âhuh,â sanha says to himself, setting off down the way only to see a familiar face come around the opposite end of the hall. âhey!â he calls out, a grin overtaking the pout that had formed on his face. âwhere have you been all day?â sanha asks, picking up his pace enough to reach kimberly. âyou know, no one fucking recognizes flynn ryder when youâre not around? iâm like, the star of the movie. what the fuck?â
a staff member beckons her to get more water â isnât this supposed to be their job? three years in and sheâs still amazed at the some of the requests people make to her. then again, she has felt this way before, and has noticed that the rare instances like this have more to do with the fact that sheâs the odd one out over everything else.
the last thing she needs is prying ears to catch that sheâs âstubbornâ or a âdivaâ or all of the above, so kimberly sets out to find what sheâs supposed to be looking for. theyâd only just muttered about where it was, and rather than be annoying and ask the staff member to repeat themselves, kimberly figures sheâll find it eventually.Â
thereâs something off about the hallway she turns a corner to. it doesnât feel familiar, feels off. she gets goosebumps all up her arms when the unknown doesnât settle. she tugs the sleeve of her rapunzel dress down to cover her exposed wrists out of slight paranoia despite the material being terribly non-stretchy.
a voice startles her out of her own thoughts, an audible gasp that causes her heart to momentarily misfire. she turns, promptly, and her blonde, braided extensions swinging with her quick momentum as a new wave of calm settles over her body seeing a familiar face. she smiles weakly seeing him in such a suitable costume, though now that theyâre together, feels like theyâre falling into some sort of disney nightmare.
âi was in my dressing room,â she begins, noticing that even though thereâs one thing she recognizes here, the rest of this hallway continues to keep her uneasy. âthey sent me to go get more water. i ââ sheâs cut off then by the sound of something the likes of a loud whirring noise from behind another corner; she flinches and looks at sanha with wide, startled eyes to ask if heâd heard that, too. âoppa,â she cowers behind him then, grasping onto the satchel heâd had across his chest to keep him close. if only the situation didnât call for this, theyâd actually look quite adorable.âiâm starting to really get freaked out.â
