I know I’m naive and say this literally all the time but this next week I am for real not doing work stuff and focusing on studying. like the amount of overtime and study hours I’ve wasted on this fucking work project is insane.

and this rotation has never been like this… it’s just bad timing so I don’t really blame anyone… but it’s so stupid bc all the time I’m like oh I’ll just comp study time next week but at this point I literally only have one full week before I’m off on study days . and during that week I’m still taking study hours. and also training the new student for this rotation. but whatever.. I’m a rock in the stream.<3

but literally I feel like I’m still detoxing from today like it was kind of insane. 4 meetings before 11am starting at 8:30 and all of them were like ones I actually needed to pay attention and contribute to. and I was so tired and my cramps were so bad but I had to go into the office to play a ping pong game for the office tournament .?? and like I actually do not know what entity possessed my body to make me sign up for that hello. and I lost which I knew I would but I did score like 4 points. So. and then I had lunch and basically bitched at my coworkers for the entire hour about how annoyed I am at the exam/student program bc there is literally no consideration for the people sitting for the july FSA exams. And then we had to go to a baby shower for this other coworker which was making me so nervous the whole time bc for no reason ever since I met her I have convinced myself her name is nicole when that is literally not even close to her name. she just really seems like a Nicole to me .

oh my god and then we got rotation assignments so I finally know what my new job is going to be but also I didn’t get the one I was 99.9% sure I would get but it doesn’t even matter bc the one I got was really my true top choice even though I put it second bc I was playing mind games with the head of the student program.

and then I studied Full Preliminary Term and Commissioners’ Reserve Valuation Method and then chloe and I got really good rice paper wraps from this place by where she is house sitting and the lady she’s house sitting for has a golf cart and a pool membership so we drove the golf cart to the pool and swam around and looked at chimney swifts and bats flying around eating bugs. so really a great end to the day honestly.
