What if Sirus met Vergil from DMC 5?
well well well nice question, thanks (and sorry for being late, I rarely use tumblr these days lmao) So what would actually happen? (Given you meant Sylus, lol) Let's say a spacetime rift opens in the N109 Zone and Vergil steps out, right in front of Sylus - the latter would be rather calm, albeit alert. Sylus would sense immediately that Yamato is powerful and dangerous - and that Vergil has demonic blood. Vergil on the other hand would probably act arrogant and demand to know what's going on. I don't think they'd get along. They'd instantly decide to be rivals, despite some similarities. If a fight ensues, it'd be for these reasons: Sylus thinks Vergil is a threat - Vergil wants to test if Sylus is a worthy rival. It's hard to say who'd win. Vergil is half demon, and Sylus is... well, ancient motherfucker who used to be a dragon, a vampire and whatnot? He refered to himself as demon as well lol Anyway, both have superhuman strength and speed, insane healing powers, endless stamina, they can both teleport, and where Sylus uses his Evol, Vergil has Yamato. We know modern-day Sylus can only really be harmed when being surprised - but Vergil could just have what it takes to do that: creating portals with Yamato to launch a surprise attack. In the end, it'd come down to who's faster and just a tad bit more aware, I guess. But in general I'd say they might be pretty equal in a fight. Eventually they'd stop if it goes on forever and Vergil would secretly be impressed that someone can keep up with him, while Sylus would be curious how Vergil can treat such raw power so casually. IFFF they'd get along afterall, it'd involve all sort of casual insults, plus Sylus tryna recruit Vergil into Onychinus, Vergil dipping into Sylus's wine collection and Mephie hating on Vergil. Sylus: "All that power and you still look miserable. How tragic." Vergil: "Says the man hiding in the shadows playing crime lord. Pathetic."
