One of the running jokes in the town I work in, is “the city of 5 seasons.. and one of them road construction.” The same is true for my work too. There’s a whole lotta construction going on here as well. It is an old building, so guess it’s to be expected.

Since I finally have some quiet time, I can tell you what’s been going on lately. I’ve been at my new job for 3 weeks, and I love it! Everyone has been so nice and helpful, it’s nowhere as hard or messy as the last place, and I’m definitely not as stressed either. I even seen someone I’ve known for a long time that’s a good person, that works down in the basement with me.
I’ve been feeling better physically and mentally. I’ve lost some weight and I hoping to keep it up. Some of it is from somewhat keeping up with some better food choices. But also I am trying to take the stairs when I can, at least if it’s just one floor, and I don’t have my work equipment. It helps that I park in the lowest parking ramp too, so there’s at least two flights of stairs. I feel like I get paid pretty well, I survived my first weekend working there this last weekend, and they finally got my active in one of the computer systems I need.
So yeah, I’m feeling pretty good about things for a change, and I hope it sticks.
