Hannah grinned from nearly ear to ear as she looked over at him. “I promise it’s not messy, but it will make the snow turn a bright pink around us! It’s just a small powder! Light enough to not weigh anything down, almost like a smoke bomb… for snow.”  || @froggy-nav

“Wait...a smoke bomb, for snow?!” Nav’s eyes widened in intrigue and delight of the idea. Throwing things into snow to make them change different colors...and cause a minor nuisance to those around them. “I’m in.” 

“Hey you. Would you like to go grab a cup of coffee?”

“Well since y’asked so kindly,” Nav chuckled, playfully putting a hand over his own heart. “In all seriousness, I appreciate it. It’s been one of those years, and it’s only February.”

“I don’t care! You still shouldn’t have went out for something like coffee for us.” She grumbled looking at him with a little pout. Mostly because she couldn’t properly glare at him. He brought her coffee in the middle of a snow storm. “You better not get sick.. a method?” Hearing him she couldn’t fight the grin on her face. Playfully rolling her eyes his direction. “Well, we’re going to be very caffeinated. I would enjoy making sure we stay warm, and tucked away though.” Leaning into the kiss on her forehead she nodded softly. “I know..” She hummed softly. “I adore you a whole lot too.” 

“But I’m okay, love. It’s just a little snow and a little wind. Mother Nature’s gonna have to do more than that than to knock me off my arse, yeh?” He grinned, quickly taking off his gloves so he could cup Minnie’s face. “I won’t get sick, I promise. And yes, there was a method...a complicated method, but a method, nonetheless.” Nav chuckled, trying his best to cheer up Minnie and to shake off her worry of the storm. “Okay, I promise, we’ll be caffeinated, tucked away and warm and we could watch the snow storm together or, we could watch something on Netflix or Hulu since I brought my laptop?” He offered with a smile. “I just wanted to make sure you had a fun break over all. That’s why I went back to get the coffee and my laptop.” 

Minnie’s head turned around quickly and she made a face. “Naveen! You didn’t have to go grab anything. It’s freezing out there, and you’re going to catch a cold now.” She mumbled pulling a small blanket out from under to to walk over and wrap around his shoulders. “You’re completely mad sometimes, you know that right?” She stated with a small laugh. 

Nav chuckled, shaking his head, “Minnie, love, I’m used to this weather. I promise you.” He said as he held out the drink to her. Graciously taking the blanket with a big grin. “I promise, I’ll try not to catch a cold, but there was a method to my madness. Mostly ‘cos I wanted to make sure we stayed caffeinated.” He smiled, kissing the brunette’s forehead. “I adore you, d’you know that?” 

Minnie nodded softly . I’ve been doing great with finals and work , I’ve just been been bumped I haven’t been able to see you as much.” She admired with a small shrug. “Are you doing alright?” She asked back quickly, a flash of worry running over her face for a moment. Smiling at his words she nodded. “I would love a double burger right now. So how about that and a movie. Now, Naveen if you add wine I don’t know if I can keep focusing on the movie.”

“I mean, I fancy her but that doesn’t mean she fancies me.” As ready as he was to feel the joys and fears of falling in love again, Mike couldn’t help but wonder if fate had that in store for him.

Nav groaned, shaking his head. “Michael, mate, buddy, bro!!!” He shook his head and then went to put his hands on the other guy’s shoulders. “Have y’asked the girl if she fancies you back? Or have you told her that you fancy her?” 

“Hi.” She giggled. Minnie didn’t even care or realize she was still in her work place. All that seemed to go away seeing her favorite person. Taking the flower she smelled them with a large grin and nodded. “Mm, I’ve missed you too. And how cute and cheesy you can be. It’s always my favorite. Casual? Yeah. We can have casual dinner as long as it’s followed up with a bed , and cuddles and a movie please. I think we’ve both earned ourselves a lazy night.

“I wouldn’t call it cuffed? I don’t know. I like someone I think. Shit, Nav. You know I’m bad at this stuff.”

“You think?!” Nav blinked. “Mate, do you fancy the person or not?” 

At least with Black Friday being over , a lot of her stress was off her shoulders. Though she was bothered by how little time she had given herself to see Naveen. Minnie knew he understood, but she still let it get to her from time to time on the rougher days where she just wanted to toss her hands in the air and not leave her room. Hearing a few awe’s as she looked over a few things for the following week to come her attention didn’t get brought to her before she heard the voice. Even without the charming accent of his, Minnie knew what was behind the roses. Leaning over the counter she lightly pulled his wrist down to see his face. A large grin already spread across her features as she set a small hand behind his neck to pull him in for a kiss. “Hi, Handsome.” She giggled her eyes falling to the roses. “What’s all this for?” A small panic raising in her. Had she forgotten something important? They haven’t been together that long for an anniversary or anything have they?  

Happy birthday to my favorite sexy beast with the chiseled jaw sculpted by the gods ( @peterofthewoods ). 

Another year with you makes my heart go pitter-patter. Thank you for being a top-notch lad.
