I'm watching the recordings of terror camp (I couldn't make it to any of the panels this year sadly) and I suddenly remembered I had this sitting around in procreate??

I made these redraws as covers for my terror dvds, I still need to print them out but I've been meaning to share them for ages (yada yada moving stress yada yada starting uni again you know the drill)

This show literally changed my life. I received such a warm welcome in this fandom and so much love and adoration for my art that I could've never anticipated. I've met so many amazing people herr and became friends with many of them. But maybe most importantly it reignited my passion for the topic of the Franklin expedition which I first came across when I was 9, it had me in a chokehold back then but eventually I forgot about it so discovering that there's a whole tv show about it was such a great suprise

The show also brought back my love for history as a whole and it led me to take the big step and change career/education paths. It was a really dauting decision but I haven't been this happy in a long time and its essentially because of this show. Tiktok user boobiewoobie I know I told you already but your the terror edit literally changed my life and I'll be in debt to you forever

Because I'm in uni again and even now that I've settled in I don't have as much time and energy for art as I had hoped, but a rewatch of the show is long overdue and I hope that'll get me back into the creative spirit bc I want to draw things!! The muse is just not there atm

I dug up this old draft though, I planned to make a card deck series with all the cold boys, maybe I'll revisit this idea again bc this was really fun to work on and it makes me want to draw more again

So yeah, thank u Dave K for creating this masterpiece of a show!!

So I'll have to extend my hiatus until. Honestly idk when I dont really see a silver lining rn haha

Every year I underestimate how stressful summer and early fall are, especially this year with my summer job and me having to help with the potato harvest more than usual (peasant ass statement I know). On top of that I'm starting uni in october and I'm moving into my first own flat which is exiting but it comes with soooo much paperwork

So I'm incredibly busy and unfortunately that means I have very little time or energy to draw or even just. Be creative in any other way shape or form which sucks big time (what little energy and brainspace I have left is occupied by "Das Boot (2018)" haha)

That's also why I won't be reopening commissions for the foreseeable future. Again, I have no idea when things will be less stressful and when I'll have settled into a routine at uni. But if I can't be sure that I'll have the capacity to finish commissions in a reasonable amount of time I won't be taking on any new ones bc it wouldn't be fair or respectful towards the client (it would also stress me out. Haha)

If I ever stop editing the terror and jfj especially to ikkimel songs call the police bc I've been kidnapped

First off: wow I'm flattered that my art gets to be your lockscreen (again sometimes I forget that tumblr isnt just The Void but theres actual people looking at and liking my stuff)

Second: yess I'll reopen commissions eventually, I'm still floored how fast the slots filled up haha, thank you again everyone. It'll be a while tho, I need to finish this batch first and although I expected it my summer job is kicking my ass which means almost no time for art unfortunately (including mermaid content, I will get to mermaid gore and dundy and all the rest eventually. Maybe. But also the weather here is very much not giving summer rn so im not feeling the summer vibes. ANYWAYS)

But yeah it is frankly insane watching from the sidelines but I feel like the rest of the West is also taking a turn for the worse
