a yearning for the past

I went there a long time ago

never once did I ask to leave

I lived from new years day

to new years eve

smiling back like jam on bread

that wasn't complexity

All hard wired and blend in

the emotion

and the sound of music

the culture

and the rhythm of a heart best

and fairweather friends

about the human heart

than most things

on the planet

we know more

how to kill

we are learning

less about love

we've been forced

to rely on hope

The world is fair

The American dream

Hard work brings success

It's a level playing field out there

Stand by for more

that person

that caught the boat

that lived in dirt

that tilled the dirt

he lives today

he cannot die

and always will

he is everyone

but I had to set it free

due to genuine concern

if we lose the

stars and the planets

what will nothing

look like

what degree

of silence

to see the castle

on the hill

had gone silent

not one word

mouths

The melody has

left the orchestra

and it seems

no one has anything

to touch the stars

hasn't quite become

yesterday's newspaper

but seems its

in the emergency

but it keeps coming

it will be pleased

to see the back of you

and only breath
