wilmon were kids,they had that high school sweethearts chemistry.
while hollanov are more mature. i feel like hudson and connor had to get really close in short time to be able to pull off intimate scenes like that.

Connor and Hudson definitely have the best chemistry i have seen so far. It takes a lot to be able to pull all those scenes. So much trust and comfort.
Connor's dedication to learning Russian is also so good. Never heard someone speak language that they never spoke before so well and close to native.
Hudson is literally so Shane. He gave his all into making that character come to life and showed his fears and anxiety.
I also didn't expect such a good production considering they didn't have big budget and it's little canadian show. So A+ for that too. I can see that a lot of care went into making that show. Props to Jacob.
Overall i loved these first episodes. I know the next ones are even better because they will start showing more emotional aspect of Hollanov's relationship which i am very excited for.

Btw, shipping the leads is not the only way to turn a fandom toxic. Someone from the cast will say or do something stupid or insensitive, people will see the difference in treatment of their favourites by the industry and by the audience (classic!), someone will dig some nasty shit from their past, or maybe something quite innocent and irrelevant and will blow it out of proportions. Possibilities are endless. Have you checked their family trees yet?

And how is any of that MY problem? 😂 I didn't sign any contract with the fandom. I said i am enjoying while the show is going on. It doesn't mean that i will stan actors.
Shipping the leads is not the only way but it sure did affect a lot of things in YR fandom. And not just YR. But most bl fandoms that i encountered.
It's not my problem that you want to stay in one toxic fandom till the end. I don't. I will change to fandoms that offer good content. When it gets toxic,i leave. Simply as that.

Thats why fans from bl shows are not really fans that stay and that’s why I think Edmar will try to capitalize the shipping for a couple of years of then move on too

i said good luck to edmar,i still follow general things about them like projects and interviews but maybe in near future i will completely move on. it's part of growing up. i think i am just getting sick of being part of fandoms. i can briefly enter one while there is content but that's it.
