Once in a while I think of these two in v0re situations because It just fits them so well. But only the safe kind, because Puss earned his life, and Death doesn't want to lose him. So he keeps him cozy and protected in his belly :>

And in the end, Puss is not harmed, and instead given the worthy opportunity to embrace his wolf from the inside and feel safest within the one man most people fear.

I find the concept of Death himself being the safest place to be inside of to be pretty symbolic. Puss can't lose his last life in there uwu

Death has no need to "eat" things, his body isn't "alive". He's not a mortal being who needs nutrients, so he could totally just... Nom Puss up simply to hold him and keep him close. To feel a life moving and resting inside of his very being, all for him and shielded from the world.
